On Christmas - one of the two main Christian holidays of the year - the Temples of the Russian Orthodox Church visited 1.4 million people. This is almost half as a few years ago, and this is one percent of the population. In general, the parishioners of the Russian Orthodox Church (not to be confused with the Orthodox, whom we have much more) is a rather small sect, the head of which, the Holy Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', has no right to speak not only on behalf of the country, but also on behalf of the Orthodox believers, most of which do not actually belong to his church and, in any case, does not consider him his shepherd.
Numerous officials and businessmen admitted to the table, emphasizing their churching, not with the majority of the population, but in this percentage. However, in everything else, they are also "terribly far from the people."
But there are circumstances that do not allow the Russian Orthodox Church in accordance with such a small size of its flock.
Firstly, it is a fantastically rich organization (despite the fact that many of its ordinary clergymen, unlike hierarchs, live poorly, and therefore depend on the mercy of local authorities or various, and often criminal sponsors).
Secondly, the authorities declared the ROC a state church and allows it to intervene in the life of not only its parishioners, but also almost all citizens of Russia.
Thirdly, and this is the most important, Russia is the country of Orthodox culture. Art, architecture, many household traditions have been formed under the influence of Orthodoxy, and today we all, regardless of our attitude to religion, live in this cultural context.
Therefore, everything that is happening in the Russian Orthodox Church affects not only one percent that comes to their temple on the holiday, but each of us.
Although I am an atheist, I am convinced that a strong -independent church is a good for the country. It confronts or can resist state arbitrariness, it gives or can give moral support to people who could not adapt to society, it can, like, for example, a Polish church, play a most important role at the time of the political crisis.
We have none of this in Russia. After the fall of communism, the Russian Orthodox Church had a chance - how popular they were after decades of prohibitions! But the Russian Orthodox Church did not use this chance, preferring servility and money to serve people and the country.
On August 19, 1991, in the morning the coupling of the State Emergency Committee began, when tanks were walking around Moscow, Patriarch Alexy II, about whom many speak very well, performed in the Kremlin at the first congress of compatriots who came from around the world. He had a fantastic opportunity, turning to the people, to sharply reduce the level of confrontation and condemn those who were ready to untie a new civil war. He did not do this, performed as if nothing had happened. And then the hierarchs forbade clergymen to go to the White House - I saw there only two young seminarians who came there contrary to the ban. At the moment when they waited for the assault, a line lined up to them.
In general, the complete subordination of the Russian Orthodox Church has not been surprising to the state for a long time. And the war was supported, and the Satan missile was consecrated. Yes, and many abominations behind them!
But they do not stop! Just at Christmas, on the feast of hope, Father Alexei Uminsky was banned in the service.
Father Alexei is not just one of the very few in the Russian Orthodox Church, who adhered to an openly anti -war position. In a modern Russian Orthodox Church, he played the same role as Alexander Men in his time; Not only believers felt his beneficial influence at all, but also all with whom he was in contact. They write a lot about him now, look. But the most strong impression on me is made by his work in the children's hospice - I do not understand where he got the strength to communicate with doomed children and with their parents, how could he find faithful words? I think that in this corrupt and through and through bureaucratic organization - in the Russian Orthodox Church - he is one of the few who really believes in God.
And now, not satisfied with the prohibition in the ministry and the direction to his place of the wild obscurant of Tkachev, the Russian Orthodox Church is trying to deprive his father of Alexei San.
Why did they take up on him so much? Uminsky could not stop the Russian Orthodox Church to sing Osanna Putin and bless the murders, to cash in and violate all the conceivable commandments, he could not stop their consistent struggle against all living things. And they, however, went to such a scandal.
Well, personal hostility to him from the hierarchs is understandable - how else can crooks and hypocrites relate to an honest and brave person? But there are other, more serious explanations for their actions. After all, they are not for everyone who they do not like, they immediately open fire. Andrei Kuraev, who, unlike Alexei Uminsky, called them in every way, they suffered for a long time.
The reason for their actions is the war unleashed by them. When they made a way from thieves to the bloodsuckers to the end, they canceled the commandment “not to kill”, but at the same time everyone else, their world was simplified until the course of the history of the CPSU:
There are only their own enemies, and their own at any moment can become enemies, if God forbid, think about something.
Here are the enemies and become those who, although for the war, but not quite as they demand, who for the war not because they ordered to be for the war, but, like Girkin and Udaltsov, at the call of their crazy heart. The enemy is anyone who has their own point of view, even if it coincides with the fact that they proclaim the truth today. And the one who is deliberately against the war, who has a holistic picture of the world behind an anti -war position, and even more so the one who rests on himself at the same time on the Lord himself is a deadly enemy. And of course, such an enemy, Father Alexei, they could not leave the opportunity to speak, and even speak with the amvon.
And their actions are also based on fear. They, like cockroaches, are afraid of truth. They know that people are not for them: they simply do not think most often or consider it too expensive to argue with them. All their power - and the Chekists from the Russian Orthodox Church (I have no evidence that Cyril really was an agent of Mikhailov, but if something looks like a duck, he is grunting like a duck and so on, then this is a duck), and the Chekists from state bodies - it is not just to lie, but on the belief of the majority is that it is even dangerous to not agree with them, but it is dangerous to obscure is dangerous. Therefore, they react so violently to any protests, suppress even the most seemingly harmless. Well, what happened so terrible from what someone stood with a picket or replaced the price tags? But no - a prison, and the deadlines increase every day. Knowing their global wrong, they are afraid that people will still follow the one who is telling the truth.
The resistance of Father Alexei was wild and evil was constant, daily. His parishioners, the parents of the children in the hospice, and everyone he met in his path saw that he did nothing special or designed for the external effect, that he just lives: believing, in God, in truth, following his faith. And this is even more attractive than a simultaneous heroic act, it causes a desire to be at least a little the same. And for everyone who knew him, it turned out that not only the truth, but the power was not behind Cyril with Putin, but behind him, behind his father Alexei. This was scared by both the Russian Orthodox Church and Lubyanka.
If there were many people like Father Alexei in the Russian Orthodox Church, we would not only have a church - our country would be different. I am sure that, regardless of whether his dignity will be deprived, he will continue his ministry. And he, of course, is the winner.
