On the night of January 16, Voronezh was attacked by drones. The debris of one of them hit a residential building, and a ten-year-old girl was injured. This was announced by local governor Alexander Gusev.
“As a result of fragments of a downed UAV entering an apartment on Teplichnaya Street, a child needed medical attention. A girl born in 2013 has incised wounds to her arm, leg and neck,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Shot clarifies that the glazing in the apartment and the door to the room were broken, and a fire started on the balcony. In addition, according to the channel, windows in four residential buildings on Ostrogozhskaya Street were damaged as a result of the attack. TASS writes that a state of emergency has been introduced in the city.
In turn, the Ministry of Defense claims that air defense forces destroyed five and intercepted three Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Voronezh region. Four more drones, according to the Russian military department, were intercepted over the Belgorod region.
