Grigory Yudin* – about depoliticization

Sociologist and philosopher Grigory Yudin (included by the Ministry of Justice in the list of foreign agents) on the YouTube channel “And Graham Thundered” says :

“As an intelligent man named Aristotle said, man is generally a political animal. And it is impossible to completely knock politics out of him. This is a big secret, which the presidential administration either does not know or is trying to use for some other purpose.

And no matter how much you depoliticize people, the more you depoliticize people, the stronger a simple feeling arises in them, the desire to live together with others, solve some common issues together, determine their destiny together, control their land together. This is all that we have seen in recent years (before the start of the SVO - Polit.Ru) through the growth of the local agenda, a huge number of people began to become municipal deputies. We began to see outright demarches directed against Moscow's despotism. And all this is the result of active depoliticization.

She has two results. In many ways it is successful, this must be absolutely clearly recognized. On the other hand, it generates a counter wave. And the more it is realized, the greater the potential of this oncoming wave. As a result, we have a society with two opposing tendencies. On the one hand, this is famous - I am not interested in politics. On the other hand, this is a hidden expectation and readiness to join some kind of political movement as soon as it appears, which we have observed more than once even in recent years in Russia.”
