Westerners against the Slavophiles at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. " The goal is the call to the struggle of the "patriotic philosophical front against Western worship in the philosophical sphere."

Yes, these people urged a lot to cancel: critical analysis, logic, postmodernism, gender research, etc. Only one decisive philosophical doctrine - “traditional values” should come to the place of all this. Philosophical thinking should be either sovereign-folk-or it should not be at all. The organizers said directly about how to arrange this “not to be”: the whole life of the country's socio-humanities is given to the power of supervisory, executive and punitive bodies. Since the existence of a "secret order" - nothing new.

However, this is unclear: how will philosophy gain the prescribed tradition, sovereignty and nationality? There will be problems with this.

The fact is that philosophy, and indeed human thinking, in principle cannot enter into a dependent relationship with nothing of the above.

Traditional (from Latin Traditio - “Transfer”) implies consistent memorization, and then the use of well -known characters and performances has long been. The question arises - you are looking for an authoritative and time -tested answer. And this is not yet thinking. But, on the contrary, the process of thinking begins as the movement of the mind to the unknown result using the most unexpected, “random” arguments. When the mind remains under the rule of traditional answers, then thinking simply does not arise. Exciting philosopher Martin Heidegger once recorded such an observation: if the people for a long time turn to their “popular wisdom” for a long time, to the common proverbs and sayings, then his intellectual life freezes and degrades.

Sovereign implies independence from any external influences, preference to do on their own and their own mind, and mothburner. But if we are talking about thinking, and even more so about philosophical thinking, then it is difficult to imagine something more open and greedy to new meanings and places. It is always turned to something outside itself: on the one hand, to new ideas, on the other, to a transcendental source of all kinds of ideas. And this source is generally deprived of any specific identification. Aristotle said that the beginning of all philosophy is surprise. But you can only be surprised that you are unfamiliar and does not belong to you. So, being only in its sovereignty, the mind will never be able to either be surprised or philosophically conceived.

About nationality. Usually we mean by it a certain prevailing majority of those jointly living in the same language speaking people. However, such a majority is not only in no way connected with the skills of thinking and philosophy, but, on the contrary, reproduces something directly opposite. People live their lives on the basis of habits, household and sexual desires, poorly reflected feelings, but not on philosophical ideas. For a long time, since the time of the Greek sages, it has been noticed: you want to start thinking - tolerate the crowd. In general, some “folk” foundations of thinking, “folk philosophy” - it sounds an oxymoron.

However, the organizers of the press conference already knew in advance the answer to such questions, if suddenly they had them. And they voiced an analogue to all traditional, sovereign and folk. The analogue was quite specific, today's Russian state power in its obvious representatives.

To serve the authorities - this is the purpose and essence of "sovereign philosophy."

“We, the philosophical detachment of the army of our president, are waiting for the instructions: on which lines do we have to keep the defense? And in the strengthening of our traditional and folk Russian philosophy, we demand to take control of the relevant authorities all the still irresponsible sphere of the humanities of our country, ” - something like this was different.
