The Sovetsky District Court of Ufa arrested four participants in the rally near the Baymaksky Court in support of activist Fail Alsynov. This was reported by the press service of the courts of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Azat Mirzin, Dayan Valeev and Rayat Davletbaev are accused of two criminal charges: participation in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and use of violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Vilyur Karachurin was charged with only one article - participation in mass riots.
In addition, the Sovetsky District Court of Ufa today considered a case of an administrative offense against Yuldash Timerbaev. He was accused of organizing a public event without notification (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
The court came to the conclusion that Timerbaev published a post in the telegram channel “Alga Bashkortostan” with a call to go to a rally on Salavat Yulaev Square in Ufa. As a result, he was sentenced to nine days of administrative arrest.
A rally in support of the convicted defender of Mount Kushtau, Fail Alsynov, took place on January 19 on Salavat Yulaev Square in Ufa. According to various estimates, from several hundred to two thousand people took part in it.
The day before, gathered several thousand people at the court in Baymak, where Alsynov’s verdict was announced. After it became known that Alsynov was sentenced to four years in a general regime colony for inciting hatred or enmity (Article 282 of the Criminal Code), the people who came to support him did not disperse. Then the security forces used tear gas, stun grenades and batons.
