In the village of Ishmurzino, Bashkortostan, activist Rashida Faizullina’s home was searched. RusNews writes about this.
In April 2023, Faizullina organized a gathering of residents of the Baymak district against gold miners. At the event, the ex-leader of the Bashkort movement, Fail Alsynov, gave a speech in the Bashkir language. Because of this speech, a criminal case was opened against the activist for inciting hatred or enmity (Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code). On January 17, Alsynov was sentenced to four years in prison.
