According to Ugryumov, recently the curators of one of the HSE educational programs published a post on the institution’s social networks that “could be interpreted ambiguously.”

“It’s good that the HSE administration paid attention to him in time. The text has been corrected. The students were called for a conversation with the dean. This is where the troubles ended for them,” Ugryumov wrote. He called on students to “be more attentive, monitor changes in legislation and not hype sensitive topics.”

“Groza” writes that the reason for the investigation was the use of the word “curator” in the post. According to the publication, the university administration also demanded that the mention of same-sex couples be removed from this post.

Earlier, the Free News agency published excerpts from the Supreme Court’s decision recognizing the “LGBTQ movement” as “extremist.” The text, among other things, talked about what characteristics unite the “participants of the movement.”

“Participants in the movement are united by the presence of certain mores, customs and traditions (for example, gay pride parades), a similar lifestyle (in particular, the peculiarities of choosing sexual partners), common interests and needs, a specific language (the use of potential feminine words, such as leader, director, author, psychologist),” says the Supreme Court decision.
