The 1st Eastern District Military Court sentenced a 30-year-old resident of Magadan to two years in a general regime colony under the article on calls for terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by Kolyma.ru.
The reason for the prosecution of the man was “calls for terrorist activities against the President of the Russian Federation.”
In addition to the main punishment, the Magadan resident was given a two-year ban on posting publications on the Internet. The verdict has already entered into legal force.
