In Kalmykia, a criminal case was opened against a 25-year-old resident of Elista under the article on calls for violent actions against a group of people based on nationality, including in connection with their participation in the war in Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the FSB Directorate for the region.
According to investigators, the suspect holds anti-Russian views and published statements on his Telegram channel “containing signs of calls for violent action against a group of people based on nationality, including in connection with the participation of its representatives in the SVO.”
16:30 Most likely, the person involved in the case of calls for violence is called Adyan Boldyrev. On January 16, a 25-year-old resident of Elista with the same name was added to the Rosfinmonitoring register of “extremists and terrorists.”

Those involved in “anti-war cases” are often charged with hooliganism, vandalism, violence against government officials, and other violations.
