In Moscow, picketer Alexander Silakov was detained near the building of the Prosecutor General's Office, who came out with a poster “I ask you to return the business that was taken from me and the apartment for my young child.” He himself told OVD-Info about this.
Silakov was detained for the fifth time in a year with such a poster. On January 17 , 21 , 24 and 25, the man was already taken to the police department because of the picket.
Now, during a conversation with OVD-Info, Silakov noted that the police officer was “getting into a fight.”

On January 31, Silakov was detained without explanation when he was walking to the building of the Prosecutor General’s Office to lead a picket. The police released him from the department three hours after his arrest without a protocol. This is reported by himself and his lawyer from OVD-Info Alan Kibizov.
According to the detainee, he knows the police who detained him.
After his release, Silakov was able to go on a picket.
- Alexander Silakov has been going on solo pickets for several years now. However, for the last three months, due to the loss of his apartment, he has been living in a car in the courtyard of the Prosecutor General’s Office and holds pickets there almost every day. According to the man, he was detained 84 times, but all these times he was released without protocols. Silakov claims that his apartment in the TiNAO (Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts) was seized, and now he has nowhere to live.
