On January 26, the Kirovsky District Court of Ufa sent Saniya and Danis Uzyanbayevs, Airat Akhmetov, and Zakir Akhmedin into custody until March 17 on the case of participation in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) after the events in Baymak. On January 26, the Uzyanbayevs were taken to Ufa.
Zakir Akhmedin was stopped by traffic police officers on the evening of January 24 on the way from Sibay to Baymak and taken to the police department. The next day, the court in Baymak arrested him for 8 days under the article on protest (Part 6.1, Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
