In the fall, Kara-Murza was transferred from the Moscow pre-trial detention center to correctional colony No. 6 in Omsk.

After arriving, one of the leaders of IK-6 began to threaten Kara-Murza with isolation: “We won’t let you into the camp, you’re infecting people here with your views.” The oppositionist was immediately sent to a punishment cell, and then recognized as a “malicious violator of the regime” and transferred to strict conditions of detention.
