Vladimir Kara-Murzu, probably, were taken away from the colony in Omsk

The Russian opposition policy Vladimir Kara-Murzu, serving a 25-year term on charges of Gosizmen, was likely to be a strict regime in Omsk from a colony. This was announced by the human rights activist, journalist and friend of Kara-Murza Alexander Podrabinek.

According to him, three days ago he sent a letter to IK-6 in Omsk, where Kara-Murza was located. On January 29, in the morning he received the answer that "the addressee left for another institution."

At the end of April 2022, a criminal case was instituted against Vladimir Kara-Murza about the public distribution of the so-called fakes about the Russian army based on political hatred. The reason for the persecution was a politician’s speech to the members of the House of Representatives of the state of Arizona of the United States. According to investigators, Kara-Murza distributed "knowingly false information" that the Russian military bombing residential areas, maternity hospitals, hospitals and schools in Ukraine.

Later, the Kara-Murza initiated cases of state treason and the implementation of the organization recognized as undesirable in Russia.

On April 17, 2023, politics was sentenced to 25 years in a maximum security colony. Kara-Murza did not admit guilt. In October, he was transferred to IK-6 in Omsk. During this time, he was repeatedly sent to a schizo. He was charged with 14 violations of the regime, as a result, he was recognized as a malicious violator and was transferred to strict conditions for serving a sentence. “They use these punches as a way of torture,” said the wife of the opposition Evgeny Kara-Murza.
