Ukraine will be a member of NATO - Speaker of the State Department

The State Department of the United States of America denies that the presidential administration Joe Biden opens against the membership of Ukraine in NATO. This was stated by the speaker of the US State Department Matthew Miller at a briefing.

When asked by the journalist why, according to his information, the US President’s administration opposes Ukraine’s entry into NATO, despite the fact that most member countries supposedly advocate, the representative of the State Department rejected these statements.

"These messages are not true. You heard how the president himself, as well as the Secretary of State repeatedly said that Ukraine will be a member of NATO," Miller said.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the presidential office Andrei Ermak and the former NATO Secretary General Anders Fog Fog Rasmussen founded the International Working Group on Security and Euro -Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.

During the meeting of the Ukrainian -NATO Council on January 10, the Allies promised further assistance to Kiev and recalled plans to strengthen the country's air defense in 2024 - from the joint purchase of anti -aircraft missiles for Patriot systems to Skynex systems from Germany and anti -aircraft missiles from Great Britain.
