At the building of the St. Petersburg prosecutor's office, security forces detained Lena Patyaeva, who went out on a picket in support of her kidnapped Chechen friend Seda Suleymanova. This is reported by SOTA.
“Is Seda Suleymanova alive? No one has seen her for 150 days,” Patyaeva went to the picket with this poster.
The crisis group "SK SOS" said that Suleymanova moved to St. Petersburg in January 2023 and worked in a coffee shop. In February, her brothers tried to kidnap her, but then she managed to escape. On the evening of August 23, 2023, police came to the home of the girl and her partner under the pretext that a case had been opened against a Chechen woman for stealing jewelry. She was detained, sent to Chechnya and handed over to her relatives.
