Yle: a drug that improves anabolism was found in Kamila Valieva’s doping test

According to Yle, Estonian sports doctor Sergei Ilyukov, who until February 26, 2022 was a member of the supervisory board of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA), participated as an expert in Valieva’s case on behalf of WADA. Ilyukov refused to comment on the information about the substances found in the doping sample.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) said on February 2 that the full decision on Valieva’s doping case could be published by the end of next week, that is, by February 11, if the parties agree. RUSADA opposed the publication of the motivational part.
