British King Charles III diagnosed with cancer

Doctors have diagnosed the 75-year-old King of Great Britain Charles III with cancer, Buckingham Palace announced.

Representatives of the royal family did not specify what type of cancer was found in Charles III. It is noted that this is not prostate cancer, and the king decided to talk about his diagnosis in order to prevent speculation on this topic.

The king began treatment, during which he will continue to deal with state affairs and papers, but will refrain from public events on the advice of doctors.

“The King is grateful to his doctors for the surgical intervention, which became possible thanks to his recent hospitalization. He is positive about his treatment and hopes to return to government duties as soon as possible,” the statement said.
