Kinky Party sex parties banned in Russia

The organizers of sex parties Kinky Party announced the suspension of their activities in Russia. The reason for this decision was a warning received by the project from the authorities, according to his Telegram channel.

“We received a warning from government agencies that it is impossible to hold our parties in the previous format. While our events have always complied with the law and aimed to create a safe, respectful environment for free expression, we have received a warning that any events related to sex themes will not be tolerated,” party organizers said.

According to them, due to the warning of the authorities, the Kinky Party project has already abandoned its eighth anniversary celebration, which was planned for February 17.

“Whether the new norms are a temporary or permanent measure, we do not yet know. And now we, like you, need a pause to digest this information. We will return to you as soon as we think of alternative ways to give you an atmosphere of celebration and freedom,” added representatives of the project, noting that they will continue their work in Georgia.

Kinky Party events have been held since 2016. The project's website says that these are "sex-positive parties with a theme, dress code, great music and a vibrant show program" that "help people explore their boundaries, fantasies and sexuality." “Anything goes at our party, as long as it respects the rules of an active consent culture and the privacy of others,” says Kinky Party’s beginner’s guide.
