How the new patriotic radio has taken the wave from literature lovers

Since February 2, in Moscow at a frequency of 105 FM, the broadcast of the Patriotic radio "Pride" began. Only Russian songs that are more or less related to the declared theme of the station sound on the air. And it seems that there is nothing remarkable in the fact that the shaman and the Lyube group in the Russian radio will become even more - but, as it turned out, even this simple undertaking ruined the life of many. The media “Radio“ Pride ”is actually registered on October 2, 2023-it simply broadcast only on the Internet. It reached the waves of the radio with the help of the Presidential Fund of Cultural Initiatives: the site says that the total amount of the grant for the implementation of the project amounted to 13.6 million rubles. The mission of the project is formulated rather pathetic: it consists "in the return of a massive sense of pride in Russia, for involvement in the great heritage of the Russian cultural code."

So far, the “great legacy” on the air is mainly responsible for Shaman, Denis Maidanov, Polina Gagarina and especially the Soviet estrous. What is in this sense “pride” differs from, say, “Russian radio”, it is not very clear - if only the theme of songs (not about love, but about love for the homeland, and then after a time), the screensaway of “callsigning the Great Country”, uttered by Vladimir Mashkov, and plans.

The new radio has many plans. The authors are going to create thematic short programs that “will introduce students to the manifestations of the civil and military feat of our people, with the facts of the glorious history of the country and its modern reasons for pride.” Particular attention is paid to a positive agenda: in contrast to the rest of the media, concentrated on the negative, “pride” promises to delight the listeners with good news.

Still, judging by the declaration,

Pride will become a platform for performers of patriotic songs that cannot fall into rotation at commercial radio stations, and will give them the opportunity to sound to a wide audience.

In the meantime, the ether looks pretty fresh: the music sounds exclusively from the extremely famous performers. The only thing that hints at an attempt to implement the declared plans is one of the posts in the official VK account: if you want to sound, send it. However, there is no doubt that the project budget is fully implemented.

At the same time, no one, apparently, tried to ask the audience if she wanted to listen to these performers in general.

The fact is that at the frequency of 105 FM, which was expropriated by the Pride Radio, a completely different station - Radio "Book" sounded for many years. On the air of “Book” one could hear short stories and fragments of texts-not only artistic, but also scientific and non-fiction; programs about the authors and their biography; history of publications, prohibitions and censorship of texts; The analysis of typical speech errors in the Russian language and a lot of other useful information. “The entire air of the radio is a book,” writes his editor -in -chief Yegor Serov on the project’s website. - Almost all the names of our programs are related to the book. We do not have a “program program”, but there is a “table of table of contents of the day”. The morning ether is called “preface”, and the cycles of programs are “bookmarking”, “ex -libris”, “book binding”, “native speech”, “guide”, “illustration” and others. Now on the air of such cycles - two and a half dozen, and we are constantly inventing new ones. ”

Of course, no one, of course, began to warn the “pride” that the “book” will be replaced by “pride”, neither the audience, no, obviously, the director.

Let me explain what I created and worked only on the content of the Book radio, whose broadcasting remains on the Internet. I have nothing to do with the content of the sounding radio station. About three hundred crying emoji and 394 gathered under the post - at the time when I write this text, a comment, the general meaning of which is the following: the Radio “Book” for many was a guide to the world of literature, not just one of the stations, but part of life. “This is not just a radio station,” writes one of the listeners, “is a source of inspiration and knowledge. It is thanks to you that I met the work of many undeservedly forgotten writers. ”

Someone calls the replacement of the “book” with “pride” with terrifying news and dubious political decision, someone says that the 105 FM button will now have to forget. Someone demands to return to the air truly patriotic radio and "true pride."

Although the Radio "Book" remained on the Internet and applications, for many of its listeners, the loss of radio wave has become a big problem: among the audience there are elderly people who are accustomed to listen only to radio or no Internet access. Of the 394 comments, there are not a single one in which someone would be delighted with the replacement of literature with the “great legacy of the Russian cultural code” represented by the domestic pop.

The case with the “book” and “pride” is the next to the impossibility of a clear example of how a policy is arranged in today's Russia. The mockery voting for the shaman and the vine is the only democratic choice that the authorities left their stupid, incorrect people: play, they say. And again - as after every similar situation that is happening now daily - the question arises: well, is it really enough for us?
