For some reason, Ekaterina Mizulin was allowed to the university. There was a scandal

On February 6, at the Urals Federal University, for some reason, a meeting of the head of the League of Safe Internet, Ekaterina Mizulina and University students, was held. A few days before, information appeared on social networks that students allegedly are forced to drive this conversation with a person who has no public office or a clear degree. It was also said that at lectures "they are waiting only for the most loyal and proven."

However, one “unverified” student was still found - and asked Mizulina a question about the intimidation of the blogger Dani Milokhin by the army.

The first reports of "Forodilovka" appeared on February 4. The Telegram channel "Light Yekaterinburg" published screenshots of mailing into the chats of the university. There, in particular, it was reported:

“There is a quota that must be closed. Only a request in your newsletters to write respectfully and with full name Mizulina. You can’t say that quota, just call the guys. From each PB, three people need this meeting. ”

According to one of the students, “judging by what my friends said, he was initially [forced collection]. And there was even a postscript: "The journalism faculty is not allowed." But then the majority went there [to the meeting], and even there they were forced to work - to take pictures and videos and then write about it. ” The University administration denied this information. As the director of the university media center Dmitry Benemansky told the media, no one "set the task of driving students to meet." The representative of the media center did not answer the questions of the “new”.

But the scandal still took place. Student Ivan Doronin asked the social activist Mizulina, why did she write a denunciation to Dan Milokhin and intimidated him with an army? In response, it was said: so that "he served [Milokhin], he would give a debt to his homeland." Doronin noticed this that he personally “did not take anything from his homeland to repay her debts,” and the little-runs were “completely useless, they need to be retrained”.

At the opposite side, the arguments ended, threats went - to hold a student Doronin accountable under an article on the discrediting of the army, if he does not apologize. And most of the audience supported Mizulin with applause.

As Doronin explained by the telegram channel “Libertharianism in the Urals”: ​​“I felt that this is something wrong when such a prominent censorship figure comes to my city and is going to say something to us smugly, so that no one would dare to say a word to her against. But I came and said against it. "

In a conversation with the "New", Ivan appreciated what happened:

- As for the reaction from Mizulina, I am surprised that the dispute took place. He expected that they would drive me away after the first remark, because there could be no good answer to my questions. But Catherine decided to bury herself.

-Were there any questions or claims by students, employees or dean’s claims after the meeting?

- There were no complaints from any side yet. I admit that they can be later.

Well, it probably depends on whether Mizulin rolls another complaint.
