The administrator of the telegram channel “Kremlin Mamkoved” was sentenced to a real prison term for extorting a top manager of Rostec

The Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow sentenced the administrator of the telegram channel “Kremlin Mamkoved” Stanislav Sadovov to two years and six months in prison. He was found guilty of extortion on an especially large scale (clause “b” of Part 3 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code). this TASS reports with reference to the press service of the court.

They clarified that Sadov extorted money from Rostec top manager Vasily Brovko “under the threat of disseminating false, defamatory and disgraceful information that could cause significant harm to the rights and legitimate interests of the victim and his relatives.”

As TASS notes, Sadovov became the fifth person convicted of extorting money from Brovko. So, in November 2023, Anatoly Spirina from Ulyanovsk, the creator and administrator of the telegram channel “Somehow Like This,” was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for this. And in May of the same year, the administrators of the telegram channels “Project Scanner” and Riddle, Alexey Slobodenyuk, Evgeny Moskvin and Vladislav Malushenko, received eight years each.

On February 8, 2024, the prosecution asked the court to sentence Kirill Sukhanov, commercial director of Beware, Media, to eight years of strict regime.

The prosecution is asking the two other defendants in this case—the authors of the telegram channel “Tushite Lights,” Arian Romanovsky and Tamerlan Bigaev—to be sentenced to seven and a half years in a maximum security colony.

All three are accused of extorting 11 million rubles from Rostec head Sergei Chemezov. According to investigators, Sukhanov asked an official for money for installing a “negative block” in the “Lights Out” telegram channel. Previously, Ksenia Sobchak apologized for her colleagues to Chemezov.
