The Primorsky Regional Court refused to satisfy the complaint of the defense of the shaman Alexander Gabyshev to the decision of the Ussuri district court, who refused to transfer Gabyshev to a softer type of treatment, lawyer Alexei Pryanishnikov said .
According to Pryanishnikov, the leadership of the psychiatric hospital in Ussuriysk once again supported the complaint about the transfer of Gabyshev to a milder type of treatment. The lawyer announced his intention to appeal to the cassation court. Earlier, the court refused three times in the translation of Alexander Gabyshev to a milder type of treatment.
In the spring of 2019, Alexander Gabyshev went from Yakutsk on a campaign in Moscow to conduct the "rite of Putin's exile." On the way, people joined him. The shaman was detained a few weeks later on the border of Buryatia and the Irkutsk region.
Later, Gabyshev was placed in a neuropsychiatric dispensary, and then a criminal case of calls for extremism was instituted against him.
In October 2021, the Yakut City Court placed Gabyshev for forced treatment in the Novosibirsk Psychiatric Hospital of the Specialty. He was accused of applying violence to law enforcement officers and extremism.
In April 2022, Alexander Gabyshev was transferred from the Novosibirsk psychiatric hospital to Ussuriysk.
Residents of Siberia and the Far East still held pickets and other promotions in support of Gabyshev. In 2021, the Memorial human rights center included Gabyshev in the lists of political prisoners.
