Ukraine attacked the Russian landing ship "Caesar KNIKOV"

The Main Directorate of the Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR) published a video on the frames of which, it is alleged, captures the moment of the attack of the Russian large landing ship Caesar Konikov.

In a three -minute video, probably removed by a surface drone, a vessel on which a bright explosion occurs, it is visible. The video ends with the shots of the fire on the ship. The GUR telegram channel says that Caesar Kunikov was attacked by the floating drones of the Magura V5 in the waters of the Alupka . According to Ukrainian intelligence, the ship received holes on the left side and sank.

Earlier, sources of Ukrainian Pravda reported about the attack on the ship. The Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" published two videos with a burning and steaming ship. The videos were shot from a large distance, so it is impossible to make sure that the fire occurs precisely on Caesar Kunikov.

The Russian Rybarian project also wrote about the attack of Caesar Kunikov. “The blow was dealt with emergency ships, and NATO unmanned Intelligence Aviation carried out coordination and guidance, as before,” the publication said.

A ship is 112.5 meters long and 15 meters wide could be used to set mine fences or delivery of military equipment. The ship accommodates up to 87 crew members.

According to the “agency”, “Caesar Kunikov” is the fifth Russian large landing ship attacked by the Ukrainian army. In total, the Black Sea Fleet of Russia before the invasion of Ukraine had 13 ships of this type.
