What does the city look like under fire for almost 10 years, and over the past two years has turned into ruins

Avdeevka, an important Ukrainian fortified area, was under fire from the beginning of battles in the Donetsk region of Ukraine in 2014. Before the start of the war, almost 30 thousand people lived here. The battles resumed after February 24, 2022, when Russia invaded the territory of Ukraine, but the active attack began last fall. According to the Ukrainian side, Russia suffered heavy losses during this offensive - about 10 thousand people died only in November. This is confirmed by the data of the British and Intelligence of the United States, which estimated Russian losses at almost 13 thousand soldiers killed and wounded. The military experts surveyed by Novo-Europe said that the Russian army advanced in Avdeevka using aviation, and the number of air bombs dropped into the city exceeded 250 per week. According to experts, the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not have enough ammunition, so "the Ukrainian units are forced to take a position that is easier to hold in such conditions." On February 17, the new commander in chief of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, Alexander Syrfa, announced the withdrawal of troops from Avdeevka. This was his first significant decision in this post.
