"Dron", independent European media in Russian, created by a group of famous Ukrainian journalists, is looking for an author and editor of explanatory materials (expileers), an interview.

Dron is an independent European media in Russian, founded in the summer of 2022. The publication was created by journalists who work according to the most strict professional and ethical standards. First of all, we write about Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus for reading news in Russian outside the Russian Federation, in Russia itself access to our site is limited. But for Russians too - many read us through the VPN.

Responsibilities:

• Generation of ideas for explanatory materials from the region, which illuminates the "drone". Coordination with the chief editor, writing materials;
• Search for interlocutors for an interview on relevant topics in the region, which illuminates the "drone", primarily in Ukraine. Negotiations on interviews with public opinion leaders, their assistants, press services;
• Writing interviews;
• Editing materials and interviews of freelancers;
• Duplication of published materials on social networks, primarily in telegrams and x (Twitter).

Requirements:

• Ideal Russian, which allows you to independently and efficiently write, publish materials and interviews;
• It is preferably good knowledge of the Ukrainian language;
• It is desirable to speak English at a level that allows you to quote Western information agencies and other media (Reuters, Politico, The Washington Post, etc.);
• Portfolio of materials and interviews in high -quality media published in the region (in Russian, Ukrainian);
• Ideal knowledge of the political situation in Ukraine, the development of the war of Russia against Ukraine. Good knowledge of events in Ukraine in 2014-2020 is also desirable;
• The ideal candidate also understands the political and economic situation in other countries that the Don -Don, primarily in Belarus, Russia and Moldova, illuminates;
• Separate values ​​"drone";
• Flexibility and desire to study and grow professionally.
