Yulia Navalnaya asked not to defend her from Dmitry Medvedev, who said that she had been waiting for her husband’s death for many years.

“Why are you protecting me from Medvedev, he’s a waste of space. They purposely give you this good-for-nothing so that you can let off steam on him. Write that Putin killed Alexei. Write every day. As long as you have enough strength,” wrote the politician’s widow on the social network X.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev gave an interview to Russian media, in which he stated that he could not say anything good about Alexei Navalny.

“Look at the smiling, happy face of Navalny’s widow. It feels like she has been waiting for this event all these years to unfold her political life,” Medvedev said.

Navalny’s death on The FSIN announced the afternoon of February 16. The politician’s body has not yet been released to relatives. The Investigative Committee claims that this is necessary to complete some kind of verification.

In many cities across the country, spontaneous memorials have appeared in memory of Alexei Navalny, where thousands of people bring flowers and candles. In some cities, people laying flowers are detained and beaten by security forces.
