According to the husband of the human rights activist, Seitasan Chikiev, the search began at six in the morning when security forces jumped over the fence. The man noted that they presented a resolution from the Kyiv District Court to “inspect” the premises, but in fact it was a search, since the employees “rummaged everywhere and forced them to pull things out.” A CCTV recorder, all phones, flash drives and a laptop were confiscated from the human rights activist and her family.
Chikiev also clarified that the “survey” was carried out under the administrative article on abuse of freedom of mass information (Article 13.15 of the Administrative Code).
Lawyers Emil Kurbedinov and Edem Semedlyaev came to the human rights activist’s house during the search, but the security forces did not let them in . At 12:00 Zudieva was released from Center “E”.
