The infernal manipulations with the body of Alexei Navalny ended, which, finally, gave the mothers like relatives, friends and millions of fellow citizens who sympathized with his ideals and heroism, faced a new problem. A soulless system does not allow you to say goodbye to Alexei and commit it to a Christian burial - a funeral service for an Orthodox official.
It is no secret that almost everyone who is baptized in the Russian Orthodox Church, regardless of whether the deceased was a believers and whether he shared Christian beliefs. For example, at the end of 2019, Patriarch Kirill, with a large pomp, was captivated by Yuri Luzhkov, who refused to take communion during his lifetime, that is, to participate in the main Christian sacrament, blasphemously explaining in an interview that he did not touch alcohol.
At the beginning of his political path, Navalny was also an atheist, but a tough collision with the evil system led him to the path of faith, he went after Christ, also rejected by the political regime of his time. On his birthday, June 4, 2021, in custody, Alexei described his feelings: “A lot of strange events happened to me in a year ... I really did not want to be brutalized ... This is not easy, but I am making all possible efforts. How is it: "And if you welcome only your brothers, what are you doing special?" [Matt., 5:47] So thanks to everyone, I hug everyone. ”

On the day of his first prison Easter, he wrote: “Christ is risen. Life and love won ... how long I waited for this Easter! The great post this year was not easy for me. " It turns out that he fasted in prison, the stay in which is the most severe post that the leading show “Lenten Cuisine” did not dream of on the Savior TV channel.
Speaking in the courts, Navalny quoted the Gospel, which for some reason was not recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation.
One of his last claims, which the Supreme Court considered on January 11, concerned the right of prisoners, placed in a schizo, to have more than one religious book.
In the appeal of Julia Navalny, recorded on February 24, on the 9th day after the death of Alexei (in the Orthodox tradition, this is a day of pure prayers for the newly-abstained), “loophole” and “false” faith, she contrasts the bright faith of Navalny, inspired by love. “In his letters from prison, he wrote that he was not hateful of his tormentors,” Julia noted.
The same falsity of the power “churching” sounds today in the failures of Russian clergy to catch on Navalny. According to the abbot Evmeny (periystoy) from the Ivanovo region, which was banned in the ministry, “Alexei repeated the path of Jesus with his bold life. "Church" do not understand this. "

Cruming over the body, begun by the repressive machine, is continued by the commissioners in the cassoons. “Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit that lives in you” (1 Cor., 6:19), ”writes the apostle Pavel. “No, we don’t know,” they answer, refusing to funeral of the Orthodox Christian who did not sin against faith and did not compromise with his conscience, which, according to the books published in the Russian Orthodox Church, is the “Voice of God in man”.
Seeking hard punishments for people who “insult the feelings of believers,” says Julia Navalny, the Russian regime inflicts the greatest insult to them. After all, it is not only about the personality of Navalny - undoubtedly, outstanding, but about elementary humanity, sympathy, pastoral Christian duty, finally.

The two Moscow priests who were not afraid to express sympathy for Alexei were squeezed out of Russia in January this year, almost on the eve of his death. We are talking about Archpriest Alexei Uminsky, who asked for a doctor, and Hieromonk John (guite), which provided his temple in the center of Moscow to save the protests pursued by the riot police. O. Alexy hastily “deprived of the dignity” and left the Russian Federation himself (today the news came that he was accepted by the Ecumenical Patriarch in the priest’s dignity), and about. John was sent to a distant Spanish parish.
Russian Orthodox television channels call them “criminals in the cassors”, and the Orthodox blogosphere boils from hatred to the “enemies of Russia”, who “must be anathematized, and not be funny”.
A few years ago, many of these people thought about spiritual life, tried to fight their passions and fulfill the main commandment of Christ: “Love your enemies, bless the cursing you, benevolent you who hate you and pray for those who offend you and persuading you, may you be the sons of your Heavenly Father, for he commands his sun to go up over evil and kindness and sends rain to the righteous unrighteous ”(Matt., 5: 44–45). It seems that his own was also an ideal way to expel the remnants of sincere Christianity from Russia.
The fear of the prince of this world constrained not only the Russian Orthodox Church, turning away its ministers from the commandments of Christ, but also most of the "alternative" Orthodox churches. Quite tiny, they themselves reminiscent of the possibility of other Orthodoxy, rejecting totalitarianism and soullessness of the "dominant faith". The persecution of persecution after decades, these churches are either silent today or have concluded an alliance with their persecutors. Among single exceptions, the Apostolic Orthodox Church, whose Primate, Archbishop Grigory Mikhnov-Vyatenko, was detained for his intention to serve a memorial service for Navalny. The clergy of this church and the association of Christian Eucharistic communities in St. Petersburg close to it, on the basis of anonymity, informed the “new” that they were ready to come to Moscow and commit fun.

At the time of writing, this article is not known about any (!) A legally served memorial service for Navalny at the Russian parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church. Only a few of her foreign clergymen participated in Panichids in Alexei in their countries. Groups of laity tried to arrange flash mobs in the form of the execution of candles in the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the St. Petersburg Smolny Cathedral, but were suppressed by church guards and law enforcement officers.
From different dioceses comes information that
Dean and even bishops call the rectors demanding to carefully check the names in the notes submitted “for the repose” and ask the surname if the name “Alexey” meets in the note. The Russian Orthodox Church did not even apply such measures to the most malicious blasphemers of faith, heretics and persecutors of the church ...

... "Now the court of this world ..." The test on Navalny did not pass not only Russian society, but also Russian Christianity. Still, thousands of people who participated in the lawless attempts to poison him, in courts and torture, in the dispersal of his supporters, in propaganda shelter, are a rather representative cut of society. And the Russian Orthodox Church, when it faced a direct choice between the commandment of Christ about love and the demand of power for hatred, chose the latter. And in the full line of your clergy! The absence of even a “statistical error” in its cleared ranks suggests that this structure has lost signs of religious and is purely political.
Everyone who loves Alexei, we wish not to lose heart, as he called himself in the last years of the earthly path. One prisoner, crucified on the right hand from Christ, also no one buried or betrayed the honorary burial. But the creator of the world said in response to his love: “Today you will be with me in paradise” ...
