No company agrees to provide Navalny's family with a hearse to transport his body.

Funeral agents informed the family of Alexei Navalny that not a single company agrees to provide a hearse to transport the body of the oppositionist. Navalny’s ally Kira Yarmysh writes about this.

“At first we were not allowed to rent a funeral hall to say goodbye to Alexey. Now, when just a funeral service is supposed to take place in the church, ritual agents tell us that not a single hearse agrees to take the body there. Unknown people call all teams and threaten them not to take Alexei’s body anywhere,” Yarmysh writes on Twitter.

Navalny will be buried tomorrow, March 1, at the Borisov Cemetery in Moscow. The funeral service will take place in the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Quench My Sorrows” in Maryino at 14:00. This morning, police began intensively patrolling the area where the funeral procession will take place.

The death of the oppositionist became known on February 16. The body of the deceased politician was handed over to his mother only on February 24. The medical report she was shown indicated “natural causes” of death. Before this, investigators blackmailed the politician’s mother and demanded that she conduct her son’s funeral “quietly,” “in a family setting.”
