The “Let’s Go” project raised more than 50 thousand euros for peaceful Ukrainians. The money will be used to pay for shelters, purchase firewood, food and medicine.

In the first five days of the Let's project , launched by the Support Service together with Meduza and Dozhd, 53 thousand euros were collected for civilians in Ukraine who suffered from Russian military aggression.

2,735 people received donations. More than 80% of donations are monthly, that is, assistance will be provided to those in need through Ukrainian funds every month.

The first amounts will be sent to help Ukrainians this week. The money will be used to maintain shelters in the Dnieper and Dnepropetrovsk region for evacuated residents of front-line territories.

From 80 to 100 people live in a shelter in the Dnieper, 80% of whom live permanently. The foundation that organized the shelter also opened a children's center that provides educational programs for refugee children. Maintenance of the shelter requires 10.4 thousand euros monthly.

Two more shelters are located in the Dnepropetrovsk region. About 50 people live there, most of them permanently. The donated 2.7 thousand euros will go towards paying rent and utility bills, as well as purchasing food and medicine.

In addition, 8.5 thousand euros will be allocated for the purchase and delivery of coal and firewood to the Donetsk region for 14 families. 6.8 thousand euros - for additional goods in humanitarian aid kits for 360 people. And another 1,250 euros - for food for animals in the Kharkov shelter.

These are only the first payments - some more requests for help from Ukrainian charitable foundations are being processed. In addition, the organizers of the collection do not exclude the possibility of targeted assistance and urgent transfers for those peaceful Ukrainians who find themselves in a crisis situation.
