On the night of March 1, Ukrainian drones attacked three Russian regions. According to the Ministry of Defense, three drones were intercepted over the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
“An attack by three aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of the industrial zone of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, was suppressed by means of electronic warfare. There are no casualties or destruction. Industrial facilities are operating as normal,” added the mayor of Dzerzhinsk, Ivan Noskov.
Mash writes that drones tried to attack the city-forming plant named after Sverdlov in Dzerzhinsk, which produces explosives and is part of the Russian military-industrial complex.
In the Kursk region, as a result of a drone attack, the settlements of Sverdlikovo, Darino and Nikolaevo-Daryino in the Sudzhansky district were left without electricity. “Repair work will begin as soon as the situation allows,” wrote local governor Roman Starovoit.
In the Belgorod region, according to the Russian military department, air defense forces destroyed one unmanned aerial vehicle. No damage or casualties were reported.
