The Ministry of Justice added the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and three other organizations to the register of “undesirables”

Four more organizations registered in Germany were included in the list of “undesirables,” as follows from the update of the register on the website of the Ministry of Justice.

As it became known from the updated list, on February 14, the Prosecutor General's Office recognized the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the German Society for Eastern European Studies and the Mobile Academy for Support of Gender Democracy and Peacemaking as “undesirable”.

In addition to them, today the Ministry of Justice added XZ gGmbH , a legal entity of the XZ foundation, to the list of “undesirables”. State Duma deputy Andrei Lugovoiannounced on February 27 that the fund was recognized as “undesirable.”

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation is one of the oldest political organizations in Germany. As stated on the foundation’s website, its goals are to promote the development of civil society and democracy.

The German Society for Eastern European Studies is a non-profit association registered in Berlin that provides a forum for discussion and analysis of the politics, society and culture of Central and Eastern Europe. The society publishes the journal Osteuropa , which publishes scientific materials about the countries of Eastern Europe.

The Mobile Academy for Gender Democracy and Peacemaking is a feminist peacebuilding organization based in Berlin, founded in 1992. The main goal of the project, according to the organization's website, is to empower women and men so that they can be subjects of civil processes and work for democratic change, gender equality and justice.
