The Oktyabrsky District Court of Murmansk arrested a local resident Marina-Victoria of the Nagorny for seven days because of the photograph of Alexei Navalny. This was reported by the ex-head of the headquarters of Navalny in Murmansk Violetta Grudin.

According to information on the court’s website, the Nagorny was found guilty of demonstration of extremist symbols (part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to Grudina, the protocol against the Murmansk woman was drawn up due to the fact that she attached a portrait of Navalny with the inscription “Immortal” and flowers to a tree in Murmansk. A photo of a politician was considered by the symbols of a prohibited organization.

The Nagorny was detained on the evening of March 6 at the exit of the special receiver, where she was serving administrative arrest in a similar case. The reason for the first protocol was a single picket on February 16, on the day the news about the murder of Navalny was appearing.

Then the Nagorny was detained on the square of five corners with a manuscript poster “Aleksey Navalny was killed. His blood is on your hands, Vova. " On that day, the Murmansk woman was released from the police department, but later the protocols under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses were delayed several times.

The court returned the case several times, but in the end, on March 1, the activist was arrested for seven days. Then the judge Elena Shilovskaya agreed that the poster with the name of Navalny contained the "data of the leader of organizations" recognized as extremist.

The doctors who arrived, according to the ex-head of the Murmansk headquarters of Navalny, made the activist an injection and recommended treatment with antibiotics. The reason for the deterioration of the health of the Murmansk woman was poor conditions of detention in the IVS and the police department.

According to Grudina, the Nagorny was kept in an unheated cheese basement, in a special projector it was fed only with an army drypike. In the premises for the detainees, where the girl expected the court, there is no toilet and water. The sternum added that the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Murmansk Region, Mikhail Shilov, will check the conditions for the content of the Nagoric.

The Corruption Foundation, the Fund for the Protection of Citizens' Rights and Navalny’s headquarters recognized as extremist organizations on June 9, 2021. This decision entered into force on August 4, 2021. Later, the supporters of the opposition began to be held accountable under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for the symbols of the Navalny team.
