British Foreign Minister David Cameron said London is ready to help Berlin with Taurus missiles to Ukraine

Great Britain is ready to cooperate with Germany on the supply of German Taurus German missiles to Ukraine. This was announced in an interview with SueDdeutsche Zeitung by the head of the British Foreign Ministry David Cameron.

“We intend to work closely with our German partners on this and all other issues to help Ukraine,” the minister said, answering the question of whether London could help Berlin solve the problems standing in the Taurus delivery path.

When asked whether the exchange scheme between Germany and the UK Taurus missiles on Storm Shadows, Cameron said that London was ready to consider all options for the maximum effect for Ukraine. “But I will not reveal any details and tell our opponents about what we mean,” added the head of the British Foreign Ministry.

Cameron also noted that it cannot in detail comment on the decisions of the German authorities to refuse the supply of Taurus missiles to Ukraine. According to him, each country makes independent decisions.

I would say only two things. Firstly, what we did helped Ukraine push the Russian troops and demonstrate that it can stop Putin. Secondly: if we want to achieve a fair world, this is possible only with the help of strength. If we say that we want to support Ukraine, but at the same time we support the peace process, then neither one nor the other will be successful.

• Taurus missiles are capable of hitting targets at a distance of about 500 kilometers - and this can make it possible for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to impact targets in the depths of the territory of Russia. The range of French Scalp and the British Storm Shadow, already set by Ukraine, is about 250 kilometers.
• German Chancellor Olaf Sholts repeatedly opposed the supply of Taurus missiles to Kyiv. Among other things, he said that “if you use”, rockets can hit “a specific goal somewhere in Moscow”. According to him, Great Britain and France made sure to know where their rockets would be landed. In the case of the supply of Taurus, this would mean the participation of the German military in launching missiles, the Chancellor claims.
• In early March, the editor -in -chief of the RT propaganda channel Margarita Simonyan published a recording of a conversation between the German military, who discussed the supply of Ukraine Taurus missiles, as well as goals that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could attack with their help. The Ministry of Defense of Germany stated that the leak occurred due to the "individual mistake" of one of the participants in the conversation.
