Earlier today, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin said that after the drone attack, one of the oil refining in the Kstovskaya industrial zone caught fire. What kind of facility the fire occurred, Nikitin did not specify. Reuters notes that it is in the Kstovsky industrial zone that Lukoil’s plant is located.

Last year, the Lukoil enterprise in the Nizhny Novgorod region processed almost 16 million tons of oil, produced almost five million tons of gasoline, more than five and a half tons of diesel fuel, 800 thousand tons of aircraft and other oil products.

On the morning of March 12, 10 dozens of drones were attacked by 10 Russian regions. The authorities of the Oryol region reported the fall of the drone in the oil storage in Orel. There was a fire. Most drones were shot down over the territories of the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
