"You are an aggressive minority"

“I move in an electric wheelchair, but forced the cop to roll me in court,” 68-year-old Yuri Trubachev from the village of Poltava Krasnodar Territory will boast. He breathes most of the time with a mask and an oxygen cylinder. About everything that happened in his village, Trubachev tells me quietly and confidently, occasionally only making small pauses in order to stock up on air.

They were going to judge him because he blocked the road with garbage trucks on the eve. They brought directly to the naked earth next to his village of tons of poisonous waste that poisoned the air, soil, water, rice fields - and ultimately himself, his family and neighbors.

“He rolls me, and it’s a shame myself, he lowered his head:“ Excuse me, grandfather, I’m just doing anything, so, I fulfill orders, ”Trubachev recalls. - So take off, I say, shoulder straps and go to us ( to those who opposed the garbage training ground next to the village of Poltava. - Approx. When Trubachev was brought to court, it turned out that there was no ramp at the entrance. The bailiffs said that they would bring him into the hall in their arms. To which Yuri Nikolaevich answered: "You first insure me for a couple of million, and then raise me." The court workers had to equip a utility room on the ground floor (there were no steps before entering it). They brought the coat of arms there, the flag and set the tables, and then from the inside of the court a pensioner was brought there in a stroller.

At the trial, Yuri Nikolaevich said: "My surname Trubachev - she obliges me to fight."

- Previously, there were books and films about Vaska Trubachev: “Vasek Trubachev and his comrades” and “Trubachev’s detachment fights”. The hero of these works during the fascist invasion of World War II fought with the invaders. So I am trying to free my village from the invaders-from local corruption officials, that is.

The judge wrote to him five thousand fines. Trubachev scolded her:

“Your son is studying with my grandson in the same class. Are you not ashamed to judge me? After all, I am standing for the future of my grandson, and you spit on your son. ”

“She began to fidget, but she has nothing to answer,” said Yuri Nikolaevich. - I asked: "What do you not want to listen to how I got to such a crime?" She replied: “This is not a crime, this is your civic position.” And left. "

Chapter 1. Garyaev

Most of all in life, Yuri Trubachev is proud of how he raised his only daughter Natalia. She is now 48 years old. This is a tall, stately woman with a shock of wavy hair of wheat color and large gray-blue eyes, they got her from her father.

In childhood, it was he who did lessons with her-because of Trubachev’s health problems, he worked as an accountant from home for almost his whole life. “When Natasha studied at school, everyone goes to the party, and I will give her something simple in accounting-for example, to pay a salary-and she sits, works,” Yuri Nikolaevich recalls warmly.

In 2001, the girl married an entrepreneur Andrei Garyaev and from the village of Oktyabrsky, where she lived with her parents, moved to the village of Poltava. Andrey was 12 years older than her. They met in 1995, when 19-year-old Natalya, studying at the agricultural institute, got a job as an accountant at Kamavtoresurs, which Garyaev founded in the same year.

Initially, the company was engaged in the repair of Kamazov, but over the next decade it has grown so that it became a city -forming in the Krasnoarmeysky district. Now Kamavtoresurs is also engaged in the construction and repair of buildings; Garyaev opened shops where they sell spare parts for cars. In 2006, the businessman bought a bath and laundry plant in the center of Poltava and reconstructed the building in the shopping and entertainment complex. In the same shopping center, he opened his own stores of products and household goods. The head of the village of Poltava, Vladimir Borny, then called it a "big event for the village." “I, as a chapter, is very happy that today there is an entrepreneur Garyaev, who invested his personal funds in the construction of such a beautiful building and created good conditions for our inhabitants,” he said . In subsequent years, the entrepreneur launched a taxi service, opened three more shopping centers, a pharmacy network and a medical center in the village and neighboring settlements.

In the marriage of the Garyaevs, two children were born, a daughter, now she is 22 years old, and a son, he is 15. Sometimes the couple joked that business is their common third child. “It often happened that the year passed, and we worked zero,” says Natalia. - The salary was paid, and nothing was left. Then Andrei said: “Well, nothing, but how we walked with nuts this year!” “Noise nuts” - as he called our pleasure from the work process. ” The Garyaev enterprise provided more than five hundred of their countrymen, mainly the inhabitants of Poltava, but they themselves did not bring large capital.

Natalia’s father Yuri Trubachev also worked in Kamavtoresurs as an accountant. He recalls that even in the 1990s, when the enterprises were delayed almost everywhere in the country of the country, Garyaev “struck into a cake”, but paid on time. “Once he was pressed: he has no money, and tomorrow you have to pay a salary,” says Trubachev. - He called the meeting and apologized for the delay. And the very next day he sold his car and distributed money to the employees. ”

In 2010, Andrei fell in love with another woman, and he and Natalia divorced. Later, she also got married. All this did not destroy the friendship between the former spouses, and they continued to work together.

At one time, Garyaev thought about building a policy of politics. For several years he stayed with a deputy from United Russia, but left the party in 2019, after the retirement age was raised in the country.

In 2006, Andrei Garyaev was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. By 2016, he waited for the transplantation of her fragment and after that he lived an active life: in winter he skied, in the summer he was engaged in diving, and worked hard. He and his wife Julia had a son. The family was sure that all the worst behind.

Chapter 2. Polygon

The landfill in the village of Poltava grew spontaneously, back in Soviet times. Since the seventies, the residents of Poltava burned or composted the main garbage in their areas, and what could not be disposed of was brought to the village. There was a clay area in the place of a dried lake.

In those days, no one thought about the environmental friendliness of such a solution. But the years passed, the landfill grown.

In recent years, waste from neighboring areas has been taken to the garbage training ground. Then, with the presentation of the head of the Krasnoarmeysky district, Yuri Vasin decided to bring garbage from Sochi and Tuapse to her. Andrei Garyaev found out about this in November 2021 and told his ex -wife.

The document that fell into the hands of a businessman said that soon a mountain of garbage next to their village will increase more than three times: from 140 to 516 thousand tons of waste a year.

“When I found out about this, goosebumps ran through my body,” recalls Natalya. “There was such a strange feeling that some monster was approaching us.”

Garyaeva went to the landfill - to see what she was. Oddly enough, before she did not approach her close. The road from the center of the village to the landfill took only ten minutes. “I got out of the car, and I was doused with a characteristic sweet-toe-signal smell,” recalls Natalya. - In front of me was a mound of fetid garbage, dumped directly on the bare ground. The garbage training ground is a step away from the rice field. ”

In order to grow rice, farmers fill the arable areas with water, which is held by earthen shafts. In spring and summer, the entire rice system is supplied with water from irrigation channels. Natalia saw that rice near her village, in particular, receives moisture from irrigation channels, which surround the garbage training ground on three sides. The water in these channels stood black and muddy.

“All this already at that time looked shocking. And when I imagined how hundreds of tons of garbage would be taken over this mound, I heard the moan of the earth, ”says Garyaeva.

Natalia immediately went to discuss her fears with her ex -husband. She is generally used to sharing anxiety with him and always consulting. She convinced him that he needed to fight the plans of officials. “I was always in the shadow of Andrei, quietly did my job, and the whole village knew, he had authority, and there was a chance that people would listen to him,” Garyaeva explains. From the very beginning, Andrei understood that because of this confrontation, officials would put pressure on their business, said: “Let's be careful: we will fight against the landfill, but not against [the head of the Yuri] Vasin-he will crush us.” “Then it seemed to us that it was possible,” says Natalya Garyaeva. “But soon it became clear that Vasin and Yar - this is an indivisible whole.”

On January 15, 2022, Garyaev called the village men to the gathering. Of the 27 thousand residents of Poltava, about a thousand people came to the meeting. Residents of Poltava said that they were "horrified by their garbage prospects."

At the same gathering, 23 people were elected to the Public Council for the closure of the training ground. Natalia Garyaeva entered him, and Andrei became his chairman. The head of the Krasnoarmeysky district Yuri Vasin, who also came to the gathering, was a member of this council.

Chapter 3. Vasina

Yuri Vasin is a 61-year-old heavy man of medium height. He lives here, in Poltava, together with his wife, daughter and grandson in a rich two -story cottage fenced with a high fence. The head of the district on the BMW X6 of 2023 drives, his wife and daughter are moving on the cars of the same model. Vasin was born in the Kuban, worked for a long time in the housing and communal services, and in 2011 he became the head of the Krasnoarmeysky district, which includes the village of Poltava.

During the gathering, the village men did not yet know that in October 2012 Vasina Natalya Vakulenko, together with his brother Vladimir, was created by LLC MP “Housing and Public Utilities of the Krasnoarmeysky District” - a company for processing and disposal of waste. And after a few months, in January 2013, it was the LLC MP “Housing and Public Utilities of the Krasnoarmeysky District” that became the new tenant of the training ground near Poltava. The administration of the Krasnoarmeysky district entered into a landing agreement for a landfill with LLC MP “Housing and Public Utilities of the Krasnoarmeysky District” - for 49 years. Lotos 2010 LLC received state contracts for garbage collection, the director and founder of which is also the brother of the head Vladimir Vasin, and one of the founders is again his daughter Natalya Vakulenko.

In 2021, the operator of the training ground LLC MP “Housing and Public Utilities of the Krasnoarmeysky District” replaced the owner - he became a Moscow businessman Alexander Markov. At the same time, the collecting waste company Lotos 2010 remained with the family of the head of the district, and his daughter works as the chief accountant in LLC MP “Housing and Public Utilities of the Krasnoarmeysky District” and acts there the duties of the leader. In addition, the daughter of the head of the district, Natalya Vakulenko, provides ritual services in Poltava as an individual entrepreneur.

“The trash and the cemetery-that’s all that our Vasin is famous for,” the 56-year-old resident of Poltava Irina Alferova grins bitterly. - And what, excellent business: they poison there - they bury it here.

On the stanitsa germs, Andrei Garyaev told Vasin directly into his eyes: “Yuri Valentinovich, you are wrong that you are covering this dump, you bought a license for it illegally. If the cow is given a passport that she is a horse, then she will still not be a horse. The same is your landfill: you gave her documents that she is now a landfill, but she did not correspond to the landfill with the landfill. ”

Indeed, in 2015, a spontaneous landfill in Poltava is already officially, according to the papers, it turned into a “landfill for the burial of solid household waste”. The Socialist Mans of LLC MP "Housing and Public Utilities of the Krasnoarmeysky District" received a license to use it. Although, as Garyaev said, the old landfill did not become a “horse” from this. It did not meet the requirements that the law imposes on the landfill: it did not have a water -resistant layer, was not equipped with a biogas collection and a landfill filtrate (liquid substance from waste decay). These safety measures should just prevent sewage into the groundwater of the former lake. There was no and there was no drainage on the landfill for the diverting of the filtrate or the sorting station. Because of this, a poisonous filtrate falls into irrigation channels that poison rice and soil. The rain passing through the body of the landfill also washed the filtrate into the irrigation system.

In the winter of 2022, the inhabitants of Poltava felt a specific smell of “rotten” near the landfill and suggested that, in addition to officially permitted household waste, there can be taken there animal skins, corpses of dogs and mercury lamps (they even saw the inscription “Mercury” on some garbage trucks). In March 2022, a laboratory study showed: in the samples of the Earth near the landfill, the mercury content and really exceeds the norm - by 32 times.

Employees of the training ground - they live here, in Poltava - then they confirmed the neighbors that the corpses of the hidden dogs were really brought there.

Chapter 4. Revenge

Very soon, according to Garyaeva, the villagemen realized that they were struggling with the landfill, and the head of the Vasin district - with them. “We demanded the closure of the landfill, and he took everything aside,” she says.

Then activists, led by Garyaev, began to turn to regional and federal officials. However, they received only unsubscribes, and garbage trucks continued to go in Poltava. But Yuri Vasin reacted to their complaints. “He began to make small dirty tricks: he deprived us of [“ Kamavtoresurs ”] contracts for the supply of food to schools and kindergartens of the [Red Army] region. He forbade them to purchase an office from us. If schools or kindergarten tried to buy something in bulk from us, then they simply did not accept documents for payment. Everything is tied with our officials: Kumov, matchmaking, relatives, mistresses, ”Garyaeva was convinced.

Andrei told Natalia that in June 2022, Deputy Vasin Sergey Zavgorodniy persuaded him: “Stop the rebellion against the training ground, and we will refund your budget contracts.” It is known about the Zavgorodny himself that he used to be the chairman of the Slavic city court, until he was brought to disciplinary responsibility for some acts and the judge’s powers removed him.

“Andrei did not make concessions because he was very valuable with the confidence of the Stanichniki,” says Natalia. - After the first gathering on which he defended their rights, people thanked him and said: “Garyaev must be done by the head!”, “Garyaev stands for the people!” How could he say to them later: “Yes, I won’t fight anymore - they pressed me here with contracts”? Well, the money is not worth it. ”

In July 2022, Garyaev’s company Kamavtoresurs was fined 32 million rubles, accusing the martial arts center of building the construction time (this was a state contract). Andrei Garyaev said in court that the guilt of Kamavtoresurs - he acted as a contractor - was not there: after the start of the work, the designers found in the project of the construction of the sports center "Error and flaws, without which the building could really collapse." They were forced to make adjustments to the project, which is why the deadlines for the surrender of the facility were postponed. Customers also spoke about the lack of guilt of Garyaev in court.

On the day of the sentence, Natalia entered Andrei’s office: he sat in a chair, wrapping his arms around his head. “They take revenge on us because of the garbage,” he told his ex-wife.

Yuri Trubachev recalls that after that, in the administration, his former son -in -law was openly said: "Throw this business, and we will remove the fine." Garyaev replied: "I will not leave."

Although the situation with a fine became a strong shock for him: Kamavtoresurs had many loans, where Garyaev did not know where to pay 32 million, his whole life was in jeopardy.

Against the background of stress, she made itself a disease, about which, it seemed, everyone had long forgotten. In August 2022, Garyaev had a rejection of the liver, unbearable pain began, and he was hospitalized in the hospital. Then Natalya Garyaeva went to the prosecutor's office with the poster: "Good construction can cost you life." Soon, the prosecutor of the Krasnodar Territory Sergey Babelsky called her to his office. Although usually people for months and even years, according to Garyaeva, have been waiting for his reception. “You are bringing a person, his health problems began because of this fine of illegal,” Natalya expressed him. Babelsky, according to her, listened and agreed that from the side of the court it was an excessive measure, but assured that he could not help.

After the visit of his ex -wife to the prosecutor's office, Garyaev called her from the hospital and said with admiration: “Now I see who will continue the struggle after me.” “Andrei knows that I am very shy and modest,” Natalya explains. “Simply, when they offend my loved ones, I am ready to gnaw throats for them.”

In the same summer, Garyaeva achieved admission in the presidential administration. She waited for this day for three months, rode by train for almost a day, very worried, again and again spoke to herself everything that a high official needed to tell about. In reality, it was accepted by an administration employee in a mask and a medical dressing gown over a jacket and gave it a mask. He sat down from Natalia, although they already communicated through a glass partition. “I brought him a collective statement from the residents of Poltava with a request to close the training ground and the folder with evidence that we have corruption in the village and that Vasin has a family business there. He hardly asked me questions about the told, and indeed he, it seems, did not impress him, ”Natalya was upset.

Two months later, she found out: Yuri Vasin was instructed to investigate the likely corruption of the likely corruption.

The Kremlin officials told Garyaeva that they requested the data in the administration of the Krasnoarmeysky district, and sent her a standard unsubscription, which he and her ex -husband had previously received from other officials decades: everything that concerns the training ground, “within the framework of the law”.

By autumn, the doctors managed to stabilize the condition of Andrei Garyaev. But in September, an appeal was held, which upheld the penalty, and it became ill again. The day before, the peaceful judge told the Kamavtoresursian lawyer: “Well, what do you want? I had a call from the prosecutor's office, and I have certification soon, I have two children. I was crushed, I could not do anything. "

At dawn on October 5, 2022, the businessman went out into the courtyard of his house and shot himself from the hunting rifle right in his heart. “Natasha, Andrei shot himself,” Julia said on the phone, his wife, who ran out into the courtyard as soon as she heard a shot.

Andrei Garyaev was 58 years old.

In recent years, he and his new family lived in the neighboring village of Maryinskaya, which is 40 kilometers from Poltava. Natalia "what was in, jumped behind the wheel and drove to him." In the death note of her ex -husband, she read: "I have no more strength left."

None of the local officials came to the funeral of Andrei Garyaev. Although there were a lot of people who want to say goodbye to him. “I have not seen such funerals in my life,” says Natalia. - The entire territory of the enterprise [Kamavtoresurs] was filled with people who came to say goodbye to Andrei. There were so many people that for a long time we could not even go beyond the gate. And then for several kilometers, cars with those who wanted to say goodbye to him were driving behind us. Even in the cemetery, all [those who wish] could not call. From high -rise buildings along the path of Katafalka, people came out and baptized it. So the people of Andrei respected. "

After a month and a half, the cassation court canceled the penalty of Kamavtoresurs. The court finally took into account the circumstances that customers and Andrei Garyaev spoke from the very beginning.

As soon as the fine was canceled, Natalya Garyaeva “ran into the car” and went to the grave to Andrei. “I stood there and roared from how all this is unfair,” she says.

Chapter 5. Natalia

The death of her ex -husband was a huge blow to Natalia. However, she prompted her to fight even more desperate. Garyaeva had to be headed by the family business and the struggle against the garbage training ground. “I myself am surprised where she got so much strength,” Yuri Trubachev tells me. “Even observing all this beasts of officials from the outside is unbearable, and it is cooked every day.”

Garyaeva talks to me in the video, sitting in the office at the desktop of her ex -husband. “I am generally an introvert, if I had my will, I would live in the forest and communicated only with my relatives,” she says. “But I could not tell the village men that Andrei was no longer there and therefore I stop fighting.” I have an increased sense of responsibility to people. I even go to manicure, I never be late for a minute. Sometimes it bothers me in life. ”

Vadim Motovilov, the current husband of Natalia Garyaeva, is an individual entrepreneur. He is engaged in the repair and maintenance of cars. Early on the morning of April 14, 2023 (Garyaeva clarifies that it was a passionate Friday), the security forces came to his company with a search. Formally, due to the shot down numbers on one of the Gazelle owned by Motovilov. The opponents of the landfill were on duty at night, blocking the road with garbage trucks. The Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a case of falsification or destruction of a car number (Article 326 of the Criminal Code), Motovilov passed through it a witness.

Having seized the equipment and documentation, the security forces promised to transfer everything to the tax. According to Garyaeva, they right her husband and said: "You will have problems with the business exactly as long as you are fighting with the landfill." However, they could not find anything suspicious from Motovilov. On the eve of the search, the activist took to the regional administration an appeal for his signature, in which he announced the corruption schemes of Yuri Vasin. Garyaeva binds these events among themselves and clarifies that "exactly this is why serious complaints in which the facts of corruption are exposed are generally ready to sign in the village."

Remembering his young years, Trubachev tells me that they never played other music at home except Vysotsky. “When in the very first months of our struggle with the garbage dumps I realized that there are specific scoundrels behind all this,” says his daughter Natalya, “the“ Ballad of the Struggle ”[Vladimir Vysotsky] often spun in my head:

So, in your life, you were not a day. ”

“I understood that to observe the crime and not intervene is to participate in it,” says Garyaeva. - I am clearly sure that everything related to the garbage dump is a crime against humanity. No matter how loud and pathos it sounds.

After all, the Kuban rice is transported throughout Russia, rice flour is added to children's mixtures. People buy this rice, without even realizing that it is grown literally at the garbage training ground. And how the absorbent rice absorbs everything that is in the soil. ”

The village of Poltava is a grain grave. About 16% of Russian rice are grown here.

Chapter 6. Stanichniki

“I said a hundred times to the stanitsa: I blame the [head of the Krasnoarmeysky district of Yuri] Vasin, not [the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory of Veniamin] Kondratyev - I, stanniki, accuse you,” says Yuri Nikolaevich. - You are 27 thousand people. What are you afraid of? You are buried alive under tons of garbage. What else should happen so that you wake up? Come out [for protest], who can, and who cannot, go out anyway - I go out. And then they meet me on the street, ask: “Well, how are you doing with your landfill?” I answer them: why with “your” landfill? With our landfill. "

Those few residents of Poltava, who still tried to fight, since 2018 complained to the authorities that because of the huge garbage trucks who went to the landfill through the village, their children could not sleep in the sideboards of their dishes and shaking. In response to this in 2023, local officials built a special bridge so that the garbage trucks went to the landfill along it, and not through the village. Subsequently, the village men began to call him the “Uncle Yura bridge” in honor of Yuri Trubachev, who, despite physical weakness, blocked him more often than the rest. “Three times in the group [neighbors], four - alone,” he himself proudly tells me.

Even during the life of Andrei Garyaev, the inhabitants of Poltava realized that their written requests for help were “not impressive” by officials, so they began to go out and blocked the road with garbage trucks, sometimes even laying down in the way of their following.

They regularly “screwed” them at these events and applied ordinary stanitsa against them, a regular means of self -defense of the state from the dissatisfied: they were accused of the fact that they were western agents.

Natalia tells me how, after one of these floors, her “with grandparents” was pushed into a car gut and taken to the station. “While they were kept there, they took me as a humiliating measure for a medical examination - to check for drugs and alcohol,” Natalya recalls. - They grinned, supposedly I am insane. But they didn’t find anything and took it back to the station. ” There, the police demanded that Garyaev hand over the phone, and then study all its contents. “They are always trying to catch me on something: I supposedly pursue some economic or political goals. Recently, they called us [activists] agents of the State Department. But why is it so easy for me and can I go even to Tablesky, even to the president? Yes, because I have never lied in a penny in anything. There is no double bottom. ”

Before the story with the landfill, Irina Alferova from Poltava was not even familiar with Garyaeva. “I only heard that she is quiet and modest. Former wife of a major businessman. And now we know that this is a very kind, simple and active woman who is not afraid. She tells them right in the face: “You are corrupt officials, you bought everything,” says Alferova. “She doesn’t care what will happen on our land, her children grow here.” Irina herself has been protesting from the first days.

In September 2022, 68-year-old Lyudmila Grishkova, together with neighbors, sat on the bridge for 12 hours, blocking the passage of garbage trucks to the village and demanding a meeting with Vasin. His assistants assured the Stanichnikov that the chapter all day "at a selector meeting." By the evening, when through the efforts of the inhabitants of Poltava, a cork was formed from garbage trucks, he nevertheless arrived. The villagewriters demanded from Vasin to file a lawsuit to close the landfill so that he terminated the lease agreements of the municipal land and that the landfill work would stop so that he, as the owner of the land plots, take some measures. The head of the district “pretended to hear” and promised that this time there would be no one to finish for “going out into the street”.

A few days later, Grishkov was fined 75 thousand rubles. The amount turned out to be so large due to the fact that for the new court hearing, she had not yet managed to repay her previous fine under the same administrative article on violation of the rally rules (Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). Grishkova’s pension is 13 thousand rubles. Leaving the court in complete despair, she said to his associates: “I have no money. I can only burn myself. ” The penalty helped to pay associates.

The garbage training ground is six hundred meters from the house of Grishkova. “I live in a trash,” she says. - And I am an asthmatic, my husband is a seven -Palatin, he has a radiation disease. In almost every house in our village there is cancer patient. Thanks for this is our wonderful ecology. ” At the same time, local authorities deny the growth of cancer in the area.

In April 2022, the residents of Poltava created a non -profit organization "Green Stanitsa" to protect their rights. Through it, they collected money for fines of activists, paying for lawyers, filed complaints and statements to various instances.

Just them - those who fight for their right to a favorable environment in the village - the deputy head of the Krasnoarmeysky district, Nikolai Shumchenko at the next gathering against the landfill in September 2022, called the "aggressive minority", which does not want the area of ​​economic prosperity.

- Here, five hundred people gathered in the square, and 105 thousand live in the [Red Army] district. And it’s not here to tell here that you are all so rooting for the inhabitants of the hundred-fed population, ”the official said with a pressing intonation. - <...> I am watching here an aggressive minority that is trying to impose his will to the normal majority. <...> Our rice [despite the proximity to the garbage training ground] passes all the necessary checks. And you are trying to plant the area of ​​the district, it is not clear where.

- Take out the landfill! - people shouted.

Глава 7. Васин — «золотой человек»

Осенью 2023 года АНО «Зеленая станица» (некоммерческая организация, которую активисты создали для защиты своих прав) направила в краевую и районную прокуратуру заявление о коррупционной деятельности Юрия Васина. Проведя проверку,

прокурор пришел к выводу, что имело место несколько случаев конфликта интересов, допущенных Васиным при отношениях с полигоном. Он отдал муниципальную землю в аренду своим родственникам и значительно снизил для них стоимость арендной платы.

В декабре 2023 года и. O. прокурора Красноармейского района Янис Афисов направил в Совет муниципальных депутатов Красноармейского района обращение. В нем он предоставил информацию о правонарушениях Юрия Васина и «в целях устранения нарушений действующего законодательства о противодействии коррупции» попросил привлечь главу к ответственности в виде досрочного прекращения его полномочий. Совет депутатов отклонил это требование.

Тогда прокурор подал административный иск к Совету депутатов Красноармейского района и к главе района Васину с требованием признать незаконным бездействие Совета депутатов и попросить суд досрочно прекратить полномочия главы района в связи с утратой доверия.

Утром 7 февраля 2024 года около 70 активистов пришли к зданию суда, где должны были рассматривать иск прокуратуры к Юрию Васину и Совету муниципальных депутатов. Глава 8. Коррупция побеждает

В начале января 2024 года Росприроднадзор и коммунальщики Красноармейского района заявили на Наталью Гаряеву в прокуратуру из-за того, что она якобы занималась незаконным сбором и перевозкой отходов. Телеграм-каналы стали распространять фейковое видео, в котором утверждалось, что трактор с символикой предприятия, принадлежащего Гаряевой, перевозит покрышки на несанкционированную свалку возле кладбища за станицей Полтавской. Вскоре ее соратники выяснили , что надпись «Камавторесурс» на автомобиле в этом видео появилась с помощью монтажа.

Сразу после этого работников автосервиса Гаряевой вызвали на опросы в полицию. Запахло уголовным делом.

Тогда Наталья Гаряева записала видеообращение к президенту России, генпрокурору и главе Следственного комитета.

«Я не боюсь преследований или ареста, — говорила Гаряева. — Я боюсь, что месть не ограничится лично мной и последуют аресты моих единомышленников и близких. А самое страшное, что после того как арестуют меня и других активистов, свалка снова начнет работать и уже никогда не закроется. <…> Знайте, что если завтра я внезапно исчезну, значит, победила коррупция и прийти могут за каждым, кто требовал справедливости и боролся со свалкой. Следственный комитет расследует дело в отношении хозяев свалки, но оно идет слишком медленно. Пока что все, кто причастен к коррупции вокруг свалки, сохранили свои должности и звания. И это позволяет им направить все свои силы на месть нам и на то, чтобы Полтавская свалка продолжала обогащать коррупционеров. Сегодня решается наша судьба: или мы сохраним единство и продолжим борьбу, или нас сгнобят в тюрьме, отобрав все достигнутые результаты. Не бойтесь, правда с нами».

За последние два года на Гаряеву неоднократно писали доносы. В марте 2023 года, например, на нее подал заявление в полицию бывший работник Вадима Мотовилова некто Сергей Сигаев. Он сообщил, что Гаряева и Мотовилов заплатили ему 350 тысяч рублей за убийство главы района Юрия Васина и подрыв ведущего к свалке моста.

Ранее Сигаев уже отбывал срок за непреднамеренное убийство, в станице был известен как дебошир. Даже заявление свое он написал, будучи под арестом за очередное хулиганство, а освободившись, беспрепятственно улетел в Томск. Наталья Гаряева попробовала привлечь его к суду за клевету, но полиция отказала ей в возбуждении дела, пояснив, что Сигаев «прибыть в ОМВД по Красноармейскому району не желает, при этом попросил не беспокоить его». «Таким образом, состав преступления отсутствует», — заключили полицейские. Этот документ есть в распоряжении редакции. Впрочем, и самому Сигаеву следствие отказало в возбуждении уголовного дела по его заявлению.

Юрий Васин не ответил на вопросы редакции о том, что он думает о подозрениях активистки в его адрес.

В августе того же года председатель ассоциации «Национальный рисовый союз» Игорь Лобач попросил Следственный комитет проверить высказывания Гаряевой в СМИ об опасности кубанского риса на предмет клеветы. И даже уже после того, как Россельхознадзор обнаружил в рисе мышьяк, Лобач на ноябрьской профильной пресс-конференции продолжил обвинять Наталью Гаряеву в «дискриминации кубанского риса».

Глава 9. Не конец

Юрий Трубачёв умер 25 февраля 2024 года. В своем телеграм-канале активисты назвали его «символом сопротивления мусорной мафии и борьбы за право на чистую жизнь», которого «не смогли остановить ни полиция, ни угрозы, ни показательные судилища».

«Крови они попили у моей семьи много, — соглашается Наталья. — Но нет, я не пожалела. А иначе бы что получилось? Что в жизни своей мы “были ни при чем”? И в чем же тогда был бы смысл такой жизни?»
