Russian President Vladimir Putin lit a candle for the repose of those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus. His press secretary Dmitry Peskova reported this to TASS, RIA Novosti and Interfax agencies.
According to Peskov, the president did this in a church on the territory of his residence in Novo-Ogarevo.
A video released by the Kremlin press service shows the president lighting two candles. The first is on the eve, a special quadrangular table designed specifically for funeral candles, and the second is in a kandil, an ordinary candlestick, where candles are placed on all other occasions.
