The Basmanny Court of Moscow placed under arrest four people accused of committing a terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. A RIA Novosti correspondent reports this from the courtroom.
Dalerjon Mirzoev, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, Muhammadsobir Fayzov and Shamsiddin Fariduni were arrested for two months, until May 22. Mirzoev and Rachabalizoda fully admitted their guilt.
Fayzov was taken to the courtroom on a gurney, accompanied by doctors - he was taken to court from intensive care. Telegram channels associated with security forces previously claimed that he was injured “during the chase.”
The meeting was closed - the investigator asked to do this so as not to disclose “state or other secrets,” as well as for the “safety of the participants in the process,” “including relatives of the victims.”
Before the meeting, the alleged terrorists were formally charged with a terrorist attack. The maximum penalty for this crime is life imprisonment.
Amendment. Initially, the news said that all four suspects admitted guilt in the terrorist attack. In fact, the United Press Service of the Moscow Courts reported that only two detainees had pleaded guilty - Dalerjon Mirzoev and Saidakrami Rachabalizoda. Meduza apologizes for the mistake.
