Belgorod and the Belgorod region came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the afternoon of March 24, said the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
According to the governor, four people were injured, three of them were hospitalized.
In Belgorod, 22 apartments in seven multi-storey buildings, seven private households and 11 cars were damaged. Three roofs of private houses were damaged in two nearby villages. Among the houses damaged in Belgorod is the dormitory of the local technical university.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported 22 shot down shells of the RM-70 Vampire MLRS.
The Ukrainian military did not comment on the shelling.
