Official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk said that during the terrorist attack the police arrived at Crocus City Hall five minutes after the call. As the Agency calculated, this means that the police were at the concert hall seven minutes before the terrorists left the building.
Volk, in a post on her Telegram channel published on the afternoon of March 24, criticized “publications about the police’s inappropriate response to an emergency.” She called on journalists and bloggers to “be critical of unverified information.”
“We officially declare that after the police department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnogorsk urban district received information about the shooting, the police arrived at the scene within five minutes,” she wrote.
As the Agency notes , on March 23, the state TV channel Rossiya 1 reported that the first calls began to be received by emergency services at 20:01 (Mash called a similar time).
Thus, from Wolf’s statement it follows that the police arrived at the scene at 20:06. At the same time, reports of shooting in the auditorium appeared at 20:03, and the terrorists left the Crocus territory only at 20:13.
It is not clear from Volk’s statement what the police were doing in the concert hall for seven minutes while the terrorists were still there.
