Explosions occurred in Sevastopol and Belgorod, one died

An air raid alert was announced in annexed Sevastopol and Belgorod on Saturday evening. Subsequently, reports of explosions over these cities appeared on social networks.

Russian telegram channels write about the “powerful” shelling of Sevastopol. Ukrainian telegram channels claim that a missile attack was carried out on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as on the Belbek airfield and other military installations.

Presumably, a communications center of the Black Sea Fleet came under attack. A video was published in which a missile supposedly hits a facility in Sevastopol. War blogger Boris Rozhin, who lives in the city, writes about “several arrivals.”

The Russian-appointed governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozzhaev, announced downed missiles and debris that fell in the city. According to him, one person was killed and four were injured. An office building and several residential buildings are said to have been damaged.

Two people, according to Russian media, were injured in Belgorod. Local public pages publish photos and videos of smoke over the city, while it is unclear whether any objects were hit.

Belgorod has been under rocket fire almost every day in recent days. Strikes on Sevastopol are carried out less frequently; the city is located far from the front line, but also relatively regularly.

The Ukrainian military has not yet commented on the strikes.
