Journalist Olga Komleva, illuminating protests in Bashkortostan, was detained on suspicion of extremism. Komleva was also an activist of Navalny’s headquarters in Ufa.
Earlier, the security forces came to the journalist Olga Komleva home and demanded to appear for interrogation. The journalist connected the visit of the security forces with the coverage of protest in Baymak, but later it became known that Komleva was taking place in the extremist case of the FBK as the accused. Komleva was not awarded the agenda, the security forces also did not report the purpose of the call for interrogation. The journalist’s husband said that she was detained for 48 hours.
Before the visit of the security forces at the Komleva house, suspicious cars stood for two days. On the day of the visit of the security forces, the client supposedly called her with a request to urgently come to the sale of an apartment - Komleva also works as a cadastral engineer. The woman refused, because the request seemed strange to her.
Komleva was a volunteer of the headquarters of Navalny in Ufa and repeatedly participated in protests. While accusations against Komleva have not been brought, the journalist is located in the Investigative Committee of the Kirovsky District of Ufa.
