On March 31, municipal elections were held in Turkey. Based on the results of processing, more than 99% of the protocols from polling stations are leaded by the opposition People's Republican Party (NCP).
In particular, opposition candidates win the elections of mayors of the largest cities -Istanbul , Ankara and Izmir.
The ruling party of justice and development, headed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the contrary, showed the worst result for almost twenty years.
