The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has re-put the activist Olga Misik on the wanted list. She wrote about this on her Twitter.
In August 2023, a case was opened against the girl under the article on calls for terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) because of a tweet “justifying the terrorist act of D. E. Trepova against V. Tatarsky.” The persecution became known on October 26, when security forces came to search the activist’s father. In March of this year, Misik was arrested in absentia.
In May 2021, the court sentenced Misik to two years of restriction of freedom in a case of vandalism committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code). Later, the activist left Russia, and in November 2022, the Ministry of Internal Affairs put her on the federal wanted list. In September 2023, the court, at the request of the Federal Penitentiary Service, changed the sentence and gave the girl a real sentence.
The criminal prosecution of Misik was then associated with an action at the Prosecutor General's Office: on the night of August 8, 2020, unknown persons poured pink paint on the department building and hung a banner; The case also involves a similar action near the building of the Lyublinsky District Court. It is known that the action was held in protest against the verdicts in the “New Greatness” case.
