According to officials, in winter the formed ice blocked the flow of gas into the water, while the organic substances formed absorbed most of the oxygen into themselves.

In the spring, the Petersburgers saw the emerging corpses of fish, which died in the winter, entered into the committee.

What is happening at the reservoir now. The Paper correspondent noticed a purple oil film and a strong smell of rotten fish on the northern part of the pond. There are the corpses of the inhabitants of the pond. Seagulls and crows catch and eat all fish surpassed, except for large pikes thrown ashore.

There are no oil spots and dead fish in the south, the correspondent of Paper added. As follows from his comments, earlier there were no fish of fish in the Olginsky pond, but garbage swam in last years.
