- Spring call. Calling for military service in Russia will be from April 1 to July 15. Campaign plan: 150 thousand conscripts, of which in St. Petersburg - 2.5 thousand. The Russians are now subject to the call up to 30 years old (those who are 30 turned out until the end of 2023, promise not to be called up). - Resort fee. From April 1, from the hotels and hotels of St. Petersburg, tourists will take 100 rubles daily.
- Spring month of improvement. All utility services and garden and park enterprises of St. Petersburg are transferred into an enhanced mode of operation: during April they will intensively remove garbage, wash roads, plant trees and flowers. Deputies promise to conduct subbotniks weekly.
- Acceptance of applications to first grade. The Portal of State Services of St. Petersburg and the city MFC on April 1 began to accept statements from the parents of future first -graders. The first stage of receiving applications will last until June 30 - the city authorities assure that during this period the date and time of submission do not affect the decision. The second stage, at which the date and time of the presentation are critically important, will last from July 6 to September 5.
- Schengen visas of Bulgaria and Romania. Bulgaria and Romania on March 31 entered the Schengen zone, and from April their representative offices in Russian cities, including in St. Petersburg, will begin accepting applications for Schengen visas for Russians. Read more here .
- The ban "Backders". From April 1, the regions received the right to limit the sale of alcohol at catering points (not restaurants) located in apartment buildings and in the surrounding territories. Petersburg deputies are developing such restrictions, but the Legislative Assembly will not accept them in the spring session, said the chairman of the city parliament, Alexander Belsky. - Indexing of pensions. Since April 1, social pensions for old age, disability and loss of the breadwinner will index by 7.5 %.
- Restriction on the issuance of a driver’s license. Drivers subjected to administrative punishment for drunk driving, as well as deprived of rights, will not be allowed to the exam. The fourth and subsequent retakes of the exam will be available only in the interval of 6-9 months from the last exam.
- Criminal liability for violations in the sale of tobacco products. Since April 1, for the illegal production and sale of tobacco and nicotin -containing products, it threatens to three years in prison. Administrative liability with a fine of up to 1 million rubles is also provided.
- Punishment of air carriers for delays. The penalty for airlines for delaying the delivery of passengers, baggage or cargo from April 1 increased four times: from 25 to 100 rubles per hour of delay. In this case, the size of the fine cannot exceed half the freight fee.
- Simplification of the repair of monuments of the Great Patriotic War. For municipalities, they introduced a simplified procedure for repairing monuments dedicated to the events, participants and victims of the Great Patriotic War.
- Samsung Pay will stop working with the Mir system. From April 3, the cards of the Russian payment system cannot be added to the application and use there. Previously added Mir cards will be removed from the application.
