The catch is that it is not enough to have the right to delay - it must be drawn up and obtained about it in an attributed certificate. You can start by applying for a deferred application, to which it makes sense to attach confirming documents (for example, a certificate from the educational institution).

Those who do not threaten the call right now are useful to know that some types of delay can be issued without personal turnout, if you submit an application in advance - until March 10 for the spring call and until September 10 for the autumn.

In no case do not give the original documents to the military registration and enlistment office. All statements need to be taken with you in duplicate: one you will give to the employees of the military registration and enlistment office, and on the other, put a mark that he was accepted, with the seal of the military registration and enlistment office and leave it at home. Alternative Civil Service (AGS)

Each person who cannot carry out military service on beliefs or religion has the right to replace it with alternative civil service. To do this, you need to formulate your beliefs, write a statement and speak at a meeting of the draft commission. In half the cases, the applicants are refused , but they do not need to be afraid: the refusal of the AGS can be appealed in court. While the consideration of the case in court will last, a person will not be able to call into the army.

AGS lasts longer than military service - not 12 months, but 18–21 (depending on the selected type of service). At the same time, a person sometimes even has the opportunity to live at home, take a vacation, not work on holidays and receive a salary. If the place of work is still in another city, you will not have to pay for housing. Study can be continued in full-time or correspondence form.

Appeal

Employees of the military enlistment offices often shout, swear, rude and threaten. It is difficult to endure even an experienced person. But this does not mean that the conscript will have to comply with the orders of the military commissar. Firstly, conscripts are not military personnel and are not obliged to obey him. Secondly, recruits have the right to appeal his illegal actions. This can be done by submitting a complaint both to the military prosecutor’s office and to the higher military commissariat. And you can also apply for an administrative lawsuit - for this there is enough profile on public services and Internet access. For further actions in court, a person with a higher legal education will be needed : the plaintiff without higher legal education does not have the right to independently protect his rights in the administrative lawsuit.

Unfortunately, the very fact of a judicial appeal of the actions of employees of the military registration and enlistment office will not stop the call. This worked earlier, but after changing the legislation in April 2023, draft measures are suspended only after the court satisfies the request of the conscript for preliminary protection measures. Depending on the circumstances, you can choose another strategy - to appeal the decision of the draft commission in a higher draft board and it is the decision of the higher draft committee to appeal in court. While the court will consider the lawsuit against the higher draft board, it is impossible to call a person to the army. This option is suitable for those who have the opportunity to wait out the consideration of the claim in a safe place.

“Running” from the military registration and enlistment office is becoming more and more difficult every year due to the appearance of electronic summons and restrictions on exit for those who were handed the agenda. In addition, fines for failure to appear on the hand -handed and other violations in the field of military records have grown significantly.

However, this does not mean that the military enlistment office needs to rush to the first call - to meet with the military commissar is only when the conscript prepared an action plan and at least in general terms studied his rights.
