The Oktyabrsky District Court of Yekaterinburg arrested Dmitry Grebenkin for eight days, who attacked several girls because they refused to meet him. It's My City reports . Grebenkin was found guilty under the article of petty hooliganism (20.1 of the Administrative Code).
He admitted guilt and said that he attacked four girls. According to It's My City, journalists are aware of five such cases. Grebenkin explained one of the attacks by saying that the girl “rudely refused” him, which made him feel offended and he “accidentally pushed” her. “I won’t make any more acquaintances at all,” he said.
The meeting was attended by the young man’s mother, who flew in from Moscow. She told the court that Grebenkin was expelled from the university and then reinstated.
“He studies well. They began to deal with him and gave him the cat. Having learned about this situation […], I enrolled him in several clinics. We are ready to make amends for moral damage. We decided as a family that we would take him to doctors and monitor his actions,” the woman said. She is quoted by E1.
According to E1, Grebenkin was detained on the night of April 3 at Yekaterinburg Koltsovo airport along with a cat - it had already been taken by his mother. The publication notes that Grebenkin is 21 years old and that he was born in Kopeisk, Chelyabinsk region. The young man’s parents did not talk to journalists.
Earlier, several residents of Yekaterinburg said that an unknown man approached them on the street with an offer to meet them. After refusals, he grabbed the girls by the hands or clothes and did not let go, demanding that they tell him their names and give him their contact information. He threw one of them into a snowdrift and spat on it. He pushed the other one so that she fell on the asphalt and received bruises. The victims came to the conclusion that they were attacked by the same person - Dmitry Grebenkin. They contacted the police, but the security forces refused to open a criminal case against Grebenkin.
