The Governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev, increased the amount of the one-time regional payment to military personnel and volunteers who have signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense to one million rubles.

As the head of the region reported , such a payment will be received by residents of the region who signed a contract for military service from April 1. Kondratyev called this decision "another step in support" of those who will go to fight in Ukraine.

The publication "93.ru" notes that since the beginning of the year, the Kuban authorities have raised the amount of the one-time payment to those who sign a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense for the third time. At the end of January, Kondratyev increased the payment from 200 thousand to 300 thousand rubles, and in mid-February he raised the payment to 500 thousand rubles.

On April 2, the Rostov Region authorities increased the amount of the regional payment for signing a contract for military service. The region's governor, Vasily Golubev, ordered that new contract soldiers be paid 700 thousand rubles. The publication "7x7" noted that after the increase, Rostov Region was in second place in the country in terms of the amount of this payment - only St. Petersburg has more, where it is 905 thousand rubles.
Regional payments are accrued in addition to the single amount approved at the federal level by Vladimir Putin for those who, during the "special military operation", signed a contract for a period of one year or more. From September 21, 2022, it is 195 thousand rubles.
