In Russia, the SK SOS website was blocked-a crisis group that helps LGBTK-bonds in the North Caucasus

Roskomnadzor blocked in Russia the website of the Crisis group SK SOS, whose human rights activists help LGBTK-loves who have encountered persecution in the North Caucasus. Attention to the lock was drawn by the Roskomskvobod project.

The decision to block was made by Roskomnadzor on March 27. “Apparently, we are talking about the so-called“ LGBT propaganda, ”” the project suggests.

On their website, SK SOS published instructions on how LGBTK-loves could protect themselves, collected donations to support the work of a crisis group, and also told the stories of the wards.

Among those who were helped by human rights activists of SK SOS, Seda Suleimanova , who disappeared after she was forcibly returned to Chechnya after escaping. On April 3, it became known that SK SOS managed to get a criminal case in connection with the disappearance of Suleimanova.

The ministry included movement in the list of prohibited and liquidated organizations, and Rosfinmonitoring introduced it to the register of "terrorists and extremists."
• In March, it became known about the first criminal case on the organization of an “extremist” organization and participation in it (part 1 and 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) in connection with the announcement of the “LGBT movement” “extremist”.
